1. Scope and who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to the CruVol website at cruvol.com and communications submitted through it. CruVol Ventures ("CruVol," "we," "us," or "our") is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

This policy does not govern independent third-party websites or CruVol products that publish their own privacy notices. When you follow a link to another website, that site's policy applies.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you contact us, we may collect your name, company, email address, phone number, country, website, service interest, budget range, message, newsletter preference, and confirmation that you accepted this policy.

Technical information

Our hosting and security providers may automatically process limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, request timestamps, referring page, and security signals. We use this information to deliver the website, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and maintain security.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse. Cloudflare may process device, browser, IP address, and interaction information for this purpose. Turnstile is a strictly necessary security service. Cloudflare's handling of information is governed by its own privacy policy.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries and evaluate requested projects or partnerships;
  • provide, maintain, secure, and improve our website and services;
  • prevent spam, fraud, misuse, and other harmful activity;
  • send updates when you have expressly chosen to receive them;
  • maintain business records and comply with legal obligations; and
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Depending on where you live, our legal bases may include your consent, taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with law, and our legitimate interests in operating and protecting our business.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose it only as reasonably necessary to:

  • authorized personnel, contractors, and affiliated operations that help respond to your request;
  • hosting, email, security, infrastructure, and professional service providers acting on our behalf;
  • government authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety; or
  • a buyer, investor, successor, or adviser in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of our business.

Our website currently obtains fonts from Google Fonts, icons from the unpkg content delivery network, and security services from Cloudflare. Requests to those providers may disclose standard connection information such as your IP address.

5. Retention and security

We retain inquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain relevant business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal requirements. Retention periods vary according to the nature of the communication and our relationship with you.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and rights

You may decline to provide optional information, although doing so may limit our ability to respond. You may unsubscribe from promotional messages using the instructions in the message or by contacting us.

To submit a privacy request, email hello@cruvol.com with the subject “Privacy Request.”

7. International transfers

CruVol works with businesses and providers in multiple countries. Your information may be processed outside your country, where privacy laws may differ. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

8. Children

The website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices, services, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes may be highlighted through an additional notice where appropriate.
